Ok, so, you have a great idea for a soldier, what happens next?
Easy, go to the 'Soldiers' category, and read the 'Personnel Files', this will tell you how to post a new soldier to the database.
However, there are a few rules:
1) You are NOT your soldier! This is important. These soldiers aren't your alter-egos (although one may be), the idea isn't to make your soldier better than any others!
You can have one soldier with a CO or 2IC position, and only one.
Add other soldiers to the database, Manticore wouldn't run if everyone was a CO or 2IC (SIC).
2) Make sure you post your soldier in the correct category! How to find the category and where to post is all detailed in the Personnel Files.
3) Be aware that your soldier will most likely be included in Mission Files. While, any life-altering occurances or Major Roles in a Mission File will first be checked with you, minor roles will not!
4) If you are PM'd about your soldier being in a fic and do not respond within the next week, then that Officer will have the right to use your soldier anyway.
