Rules and Regulations
Manticore had some rather strict rules and regulations. If you don't comply with them, then you will find yourself returned to basic training. In other words, you will be kicked out.

X5
The X5s were considered by many to be Manticore's finest creation. The first series to actually survive and appear human, they were Manticore's crowning achievement, and the basis for the rest of the X series.

The Y Series
Unlike the X series, the Y series were not designed to appear human. The Y series are those transgenics which were made specifically for a certain type of combat, and do not appear to be human.

Anomalies
The Anomalies are those X and Y series soldiers which didn't turn out 'quite' right. Most Anomalies are early X series, when the scientists were still experimenting with mixing human and animal DNA. They are the often forgotten ones. The monsters in the basement.
